’Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the manor It was time for decor—festive wreaths, lights, and banners! The dragons were helping young kids deck the halls, Draping baubles on branches and cats on the walls; The hors d’oeuvres were nibbled, the fruitcake took flight, While flaming punch kept adults’ spirits alight. Festivities featured carols through the streets And Figbash performing the Nutcracker Suite. But ask any guest, they’ll recite like a story— “No party’s complete without something by Gorey!”
